Join us at Artisan Avenue at 2843 Granville St Vancouver BC on Sunday, June 23rd from 2PM to 5 PM for Bougie Birch Dreamcatcher Pendant Workshop for Indigenous Month with Two-Spirit Indigenous Artist Eddie Mendoza from Charlie's Charmed.

Get ready to unleash your creativity and make a unique piece of jewelry to cherish. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with indigenous culture and artistry! Let’s get bougie together.

Learn the art of traditional sinew weaving through our Bougie Birch Dreamcatcher Pendant Workshop. Under the guidance of Indigenous artist and educator, Eddie Mendoza, craft your own pendant in a 2-3 hours. We will using birch wood, traditional sinew and finish real bougie by accenting your artistry with arctic fox fur . We supply the materials; you bring the inspiration, desire to learn and some tea to spill.

Dive into Indigenous artistry, learn about the resilience of Indigenous communities throughout history, and be part of a hands-on experience that bridges cultures. With Bougie Birch, it’s more than a craft – it’s a journey into heritage. Come, connect, and create.

Dreamcatchers are a traditional Indigenous craft found predominantly in Lakota, Ojibwa, Navaho and Cree culture.

Celebrate Indigenous Month at Artisan Avenue by learning about the significance of dreamcatchers and their cultural importance.

Space is limited.
